The shop, tucked away in a cozy corner is unsuspecting. Upon entering, a warm buttery scent enveloped me. A table with extensive menu options; teas, coffees, crumpets. Oh my! The bubbly and attentive barista quickly took my order and I sat myself at a table. In only a few minutes my order was ready. The “Vermont” crumpet had a moist fluffy interior and a perfectly crispy exterior. Paired with one of the best lattes i’ve had in a long time. The whole experience was delightful! I can’t wait to come back with friends!
Fun time trying crumpets for the first time. Since I've never had them, I have nothing to compare them to. We got the everything salmon crumpet and the lemon curd. Both were yum. My only complaint was it felt over priced for what you get.
Delicious. I got the Seattle Crumpet and the Lemon Curd & Ricotta Crumpet with a Mocha. Staff was friendly. I went right at opening on a Sunday and had no issues. Good way to start the day.
The staff was very nice and explained the entire menu. We decided on two different crumpets with salmon, one sweet, one latte, and one cortado. Everything was so delicious.
Lovely little place with coffee, tea, savory and sweet crumpets (sort of like fancy English muffins). Sky lights and big windows with lots of natural light. Would love a couch and squishy chairs here. However, they do have some outdoor seating under a covered area that's nice for dog walkers. The lemon curd ricotta crumpet was delicious.
Fear not gluten free friends, the Crumpet shop may not have GF crumpets, but they do have some delicious options for your appetite. I had a bowl of groats with currants and brown sugar, as well as a cheesy egg alongside by mocha. Will def come again! The crumpet menu is full of amazing options both sweet and savory!
If I was just ranking the food, it would be a five out of five coffee was delicious. Chai latte that I had later was delicious and the Ricky Rizz crumpet made my morning. Unfortunately, it gets really crowded and there's only three tables hard to find a seat inside. There are no heaters on the patio outside. It's a shared space between a lot of businesses, but they would probably do well to get some and you can see into the kitchen space with all the carts and rack racks which some people like I'm not one of those people.
